Why should I choose Fuego Designz?


That is an excellent question! We have many reasons why you should choose us above the competition, but to name a few, we'd point to our 15+ years of professional experience, which has allowed us to develop a powerful aesthetic! And on every project we work on, this style consistently produces excellent outcomes for our clients. We'd also want to point out that Fuego Designz is a dynamic and ever-adapting company; we're always learning the latest and most effective strategies to ensure that whatever project or brand we're working on is current and relevant. However, most importantly! We are proud of what we do and the relationships we develop with our clients. We recognize that each project and client is different, therefore to deliver the best results we pay special attention to their specific demands and issues.




How much do you charge?


We have flat rates for our most commonly requested projects and custom quotes for jobs with unique requirements. We like to discuss each new project with you to determine the scope of each project, how much work will be involved, the timeline, etc. Once we have a thorough understanding of your needs, we can suggest a quote that will encompass all of your needs. We usually quote on set project fee, based on the initial scope, so that you know the costs up front.




Are your fees negotiable?


No, our fees are based on how much work will be involved in creating a great product for you. Since we are not willing to compromise on the quality of our work, we also cannot negotiate on our rates. However, if your budget is constrained, we can reduce the scope of the project, or break it down into phases.




What does our initial consultation include?


The purpose of our first meeting is to get to know you, your business and your goals. We want to know everything about your business, from why you got started in the first place, to what your current pain points are. From there, we get a better understanding of where you are coming from and what you hope to accomplish with the current project. If we are both interested in continuing the project, we will send you a proposal for the work to be completed, and a questionnaire about your business. We believe mutual communication and understanding are essential to not only a successful project, but a great ongoing relationship.




What are your hours?


We are available by appointment Monday, Wednesday & Friday, and some weekends. In order to focus on client projects to deliver the highest quality, emails and business texts are checked 2-3 times per day only.




How long does a project take to complete?


That depends entirely on the project! A complicated project can take months, while a simple one can be done in a matter of days. Our ability to complete a project also hinges largely on your response time. We rely on your feedback to create a great piece of work, so the sooner you respond to us, the faster we can move forward. We will be able to discuss a more concrete time frame during your consultation.




How frequently do we need to be in contact? Do we need to meet in person?


Once again, this depends a lot on the nature of the project. Some projects (ie: designing a logo) require more frequent check-ins, while others only need meetings a few times a year (ie: quarterly website maintenance). We would love to meet you at least once in person, but that is not required for us to work together. We can complete projects entirely over emails, phone or texts.




What payments are accepted?


All accepted payments include check, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover and we also utilize apps like Cashapp, Venmo, Zelle and Paypal. Cash is not accepted.




Who owns the copyright for the designs you produce?


Copyright for all work carried out by Fuego Designz transfers to the client as soon as the balance has been settled in full. We do, however, reserve the right to use any work for promotional purposes.




I need something designing yesterday, is this possible?


Sometimes customers require our services at very short notice. We can usually accommodate rush jobs depending on the size of the project and how full our production schedule is. These jobs are typically subjected to an additional charge.




How will I receive my design files?


Once your design is completed, I can deliver your final file:
– via email as an attachment depending on size.
– upload to Dropbox and send you a link to download
– In rare cases even save files onto a CD and deliver via regular post or courier




In what format will I receive my designs as?


For vector files, we will provide you with .AI, .EPS, .PDF and .JPG file. For raster files, you will receive .JPG, .PNG and .PDF file. For video files, you will receive .MP4, .MOV




When will I Pay?


For all small projects and designs we always need upfront payment. For more advanced projects and complex artworks 65% non-refundable deposit is required before any design work will commence. The final payment should be made when your files are ready to be sent to you.




Do you keep my designs on file?


For a period of 6 months following your project, We keep your design in an active archive should you lose or damage your files, or require followup work. After this period, we begin a cleanup procedure in which we archive and delete old files. We highly suggest you save all and any files to the safety of your own device and/or get cloud-based storage such as Dropbox. A Dropbox Basic account is free and includes 1 TB (1,000 GB) of space. You can download free apps to access Dropbox from your computer and mobile device.

I’m starting a new business and I don’t have a big budget. Can you help me?


Yes, we can help your start-up business. We can create a branding package to help you kick-start your business; including, print, website and social media graphics.




What if I don’t like it? Do I need to pay extra?


Liking or not liking something is very subjective. We design based on research, experience and following up a design brief.

Before we commence work, we give you a free proposal that specifies the scope of the work and how we’ll approach it. The scope of work will specify details to your project and in some cases the number of drafts presented to you for feedback and changes until approval.

If you don’t like anything we design, we stop work and re-assess the project brief. If we need to assign more hours and resources to your project you will be notified.

Before engaging our services, please review our work and reviews and keep in mind that when you’re working with a professional creative, trust is important!




What if I want a refund?


Due to the custom nature of our work, Fuego Designz does not issue refunds for any reason. Once a payment or deposit is made, it is non-refundable. All Setup or production fees are nonrefundable as it is applied to costs immediately incurred in initiating services.




What if I'm late with the final payment?


We allow you a 10-day extension to make the final payment on your project; after that, a $100 late fee will be added for each week that the final payment is late.
